Whether you're toproping at the gym or leading a stout sport climb at the crag, the self-braking Petzl Grigri is great for working routes.
- On belay, slow rope movement runs freely, while falls initiate the braking cam to help the belayer catch and hold a climber
- While lowering the climber, 1 hand controls the rope to regulate speed and braking, while your other hand holds the brake lever open
- Stamped diagram on side of Grigri illustrates proper setup for less chance of confusion
- Works well for rappelling on single ropes while cleaning or setting a route
- Can only be used with 10mm - 12mm single ropes
- Each unit individually tested for quality
